You’re not missing something.
You’re responding to a system that isn’t working.

You're paying attention.

You’re not missing what’s happening around you.

You’re reading the room. You’re reading people.

And you’re constantly making decisions about what you say and what you hold.

You’re paying attention to what’s being said and what’s not.

And you’re making decisions inside of that every day.

You’re doing the work. You’re the one people come to. You’re the one who steps in when something needs to move.

And for the most part—you make it work.

But you also know this feeling.

You walk into a space, and something is already off.

Nothing has been said yet—but you can feel it.

There’s already an assumption.
A tone.
A read.

And now you’re not just doing your job—you’re navigating that too.

You’re choosing your words carefully.

You’re thinking about how something might land before you even say it.

You’re doing the work and managing everything around the work at the same time.

And there are moments where you think—what just happened?

Because what you said was clear.
What you were trying to do made sense.

But somehow it didn’t land that way.

Or you take something on.

Not because it’s your role, but because you already know if you don’t, it’s not going to get done.

So now you’re carrying it.

And nobody said you had to but here you are.

And at the same time, you’re still accountable.

You’re still expected to get it right.

Even when it’s not fully clear what “right” is in that moment.

So you adjust.
You take on more.
You try to make it make sense.

And over time, it starts to wear on you.

The issue is the environment you're inside of:

how decisions are made, how expectations are set, and how priorities shift

Not because you’re not clear.
Not because you’re not doing enough.

But because you’re navigating something bigger than you.

You can feel it day-to day. Decisions don’t fully track. Expectations keep shifting. Work that should land does not.

So you adjust. You take on more. You try to make it make sense.

At a certain point, the question becomes:

What is actually mine to hold here?
And what am I trying to fix that was never designed to work?

Step back and see what's actually happening, how the system is moving, and how to reposition yourself inside of it.

You'll leave this session with:

A clearer understanding of what is actually shaping how things move around you

Language to separate what is structural from what feels personal

A way to reposition yourself so you’re not carrying what isn’t yours

This session is a recalibration,
not more to carry.

If you're doing a lot, and it's not moving...

If you're carrying more than your role...

If you're trying to lead well inside a system that is not aligned...

If you're tired of trying to make everything make sense...

You belong here.

Can't join us live? No worries!

A recording will be sent to everyone who registers.

About Your Facilitator

Debra Griffith, Ed.D. is an executive coach and senior leader who has spent her career working inside complex education systems across 6–12 schools, community colleges, and universities.

She understands what it means to lead in environments that are often unclear, constantly shifting, and not always designed with you in mind, while still being responsible for moving work forward.

Her work is grounded in a systems lens, with a focus on helping leaders make sense of what they are navigating, see patterns more clearly, and lead with greater clarity and intention.

Over time, she has seen that what feels like an individual leadership challenge is often connected to something larger how work is structured, where misalignment exists, and what leaders are being asked to carry without the conditions to move it forward.

If this webinar session resonates, this is the work we continue.

There are different ways to stay in it, depending on what you need.

You’ll hear more about that in

the session.
