Something is off.
And you don't have the words for it.

You're paying attention. You're reading the room. You're reading people.

And especially when decisions are made, you're left wondering why people are making the moves that they are.

Something about it just doesn't feel right.

But you can't quite make sense of it or explain it, so you keep moving.

And over time, you stop trying to name it. You push it down. You carry it so your team doesn't have to.

You take the hit, over and over again.

And this is the part we don't say out loud:
Your line in the sand starts to move.

What you said you would never accept.

What you said you wouldn't stay quiet about.

What you're holding without compensation.

You tell yourself it's temporary.

That it's your responsibility to protect, be strong, and make it work.

So you keep going.

Now you're not just navigating the work. You're navigating power.

Who gets heard, protected, rewarded. And who doesn't.

And what happens when harm keeps happening.

You're not always seeing the power you actually have, because over time, the system shapes that too.

It shapes how you see yourself, what you believe is within your control, what you think is possible, and what you think you have to tolerate.

At some point, you realize:

It's not you. It never was. It's the system you're working within.

You're not just doing your job. You're trying to make sense of all of this, too.

Working harder. Pushing it down. Looking out for your team. Recalibrating more times than you can count.

And this is where you start to see it differently:

You've been trying to make sense of something you don't have full visibility into.

You're trying to make sense of something that doesn't fully make sense.

And that changes the question. Not, "How do I fix this?"

But instead:

What is actually mine to hold here?

What is within my control?

What am I ready to stop carrying?
And what would it look like to move differently?

Step back and see what's actually happening, how the system is moving, and how to reposition yourself inside of it.

You'll leave this session with:

A clearer understanding of what is actually shaping how things move around you

Language to name what you've been feeling and separate what is structural from what feels personal

A way to move differently so you’re not carrying what isn’t yours

This session is a recalibration,
not more to carry.

If you're doing a lot, and it's not moving...

If you're carrying more than your role...

If you're trying to lead well inside a system that is not aligned...

If you're tired of trying to make everything make sense...

You belong here.

Can't join us live? No worries!

A recording will be sent to everyone who registers.

About Your Facilitator

Debra Griffith, Ed.D. is an executive coach and senior leader who has spent her career working inside complex education systems across 6–12 schools, community colleges, and universities.

She understands what it means to lead in environments that are often unclear, constantly shifting, and not always designed with you in mind, while still being responsible for moving work forward.

Her work is grounded in a systems lens, with a focus on helping leaders make sense of what they are navigating, see patterns more clearly, and lead with greater clarity and intention.

Over time, she has seen that what feels like an individual leadership challenge is often connected to something larger how work is structured, where misalignment exists, and what leaders are being asked to carry without the conditions to move it forward.

If this webinar session resonates, this is the work we continue.

There are different ways to stay in it, depending on what you need.

You’ll hear more about that in the session.
